The difference between a Soup and a Chowder

Chowder is typically a rich, creamy SOUP that is chock full of all kinds of ingredients that make it similar to a stew.

Soup is more of a broth... chowder is thicker.

Chowder is a cream based soup.


Ex: Furniture is to Chair, as Soup is to Chowder.
